This cafe presents a modern arcade to Davis Square, with six glazed arches in a load bearing brick wall. Patrons sit at tables outdoors as well as inside, where vast windows, exposed roof joists, and spare furnishings create an airy, understated ambiance. The serving counter, roughly parallel to the street, stands in front of the bakery, a workspace whose triangular floor plan conforms to the irregular lot lines.
