A stately 19th century townhouse in one of Boston's historic neighborhoods had been awkwardly renovated in the 1980s; new owners asked us to redesign the house to function better for a young family, with a style both appropriate to the house as well as sharp and contemporary. We worked hard to bring the light into the house, including a roof top addition that offers amazing views over the harbor and city.,
